A bar graph with data sorted from least to most is visually good for ranking. Curative care visits (in both primary and specialty care) practice type is the most frequently used service, with the most in primary care. This is true for both Eastern and northern Zones.

The least frequently used service differs by zone, however, where in the Northern zone, Speech therapy ranks last and in the Eastern zone, Inpatient obstetrics and Inpatient Medical rank the lowest with only 2 claims each.

The best graph to illustrate Flores del Mundo’s membership trends over the course of the year is a line graph. I think I would then switch to a bar/column chart to better illustrate total membership versus employee/spouse/dependent with the use of contrasting colors to depict northern vs eastern memberships. As other have suggested, collapsing the time points to quarterly intervals would be easier to interpret.

The WHO Maternity Dashboard does meet the definition of a dashboard as it includes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for clinicians who spearheaded the dashboard, it can be easily gauged with the use of the ambulatory color-coded system and it is/was maintained and updated on a monthly/at least monthly basis. In my experience, most dashboards in their initial stage does not have the desired outcomes for all stake-holders, but the beauty of dashboards is that they can be improved upon in time. This also comes with the possibility of overcomplicating or making them more complex with too much data to meet the needs of all stakeholders and thus takes time to hone indicators down to a happy medium.
