Course Objectives
The overall goals of this course are to:
- Introduce the basic principles and methods of epidemiology and demonstrate their broad applicability to public health.
- Interpret and critically evaluate literature relevant to public health professionals.
- Develop a structured method for evaluating the validity of journal articles and other health-related publications and interpret and communicate results clearly and precisely to public health professionals and the general public.
